Updated on the 20th of August in the year 2001.
From MARCH 22 to APRIL 19, 2001,
assorted Boilerplate items and ephemera were in a
GALLERY EXHIBITION!
Displayed were posters, pictures, the articulated maquette,
and original pages from the graphic novel.

Shown at the Northview Gallery, 12000 SW 49th Ave. Portland OR. 97280
Stay tuned for a page devoted to this event.
Newly updated this month: the page about Boilerplate's precursor, the Steam Man.
I have also completed pages about other hitherto unknown mechanical men of the 19th century:
The Electric Man
and The Automatic Man.
The most recent BP photo acquisition is this picture from "Century of the Billboard" by Elliot Scott
July marks the first anniversary of this site. I want to thank all those who helped make it a success.
In the next month I will be revamping the Boilerplate as Soldier section
to include more detailed accounts of Boilerplate's participation in the following events:
The Spanish-American War, The Japanese-Russian War, and World War One.
Above: Boilerplate with Pancho Villa, 1916.
